BEAST’s Lee Gi Kwang and Lee Yul Eum Confirmed to Join “Monster”

BEAST‘s Lee Gi Kwang and actress Lee Yul Eum are confirmed to star in the upcoming drama “Monster” (tentative title).

These two will be playing the younger versions of the main characters and will take charge of the first two episodes of the drama. Since this is the first time the two are acting together, many are curious how their chemistry will be like.

“Monster” is about a man’s revenge against society’s elite class to create a culture based on noblesse oblige. Seo Kang Joon and Hwang Jung Eum arein talks to play the adult roles of the lead characters.

It will start airing in March after “Glamorous Temptation” finishes its run.

B2ST's Kikwang joins the cast of drama 'Monster'

B2ST's Kikwang has been cast in the upcoming MBC drama 'Monster'! He'll play the younger version of the lead male character.

Playing opposite him with be actress Lee Yeol Eum, who will play the younger version of the lead female character.

On January 20, both Kikwang's agency and Lee Yeol Eum's agency confirmed the casting news to MBNStar through the phone.

Kikwang and Lee Yeol Eum is expected to star in the first four episodes of the drama, as the characters in their 20s.

The lead characters have not been officially cast yet, though Hwang Jung Eum and Seo Kang Jun are considering the roles. 

Seo Kang Jun is reported to have been offered the lead role (not the younger version of the lead role), but seeing as how the actor is younger than Kikwang, we're not sure how that would match up.

'Monster' is about one man's greed which leads to all kinds of hardships and adversity for him. But through this, he grows and earns love. It's going to be an epic drama with a total of 50 episodes spanning from the IMF crisis in 1997 to the present day.

The drama is set to air in April. Stay tuned to find out who will play the lead roles!

B2ST start off 2016 with successful concerts overseas

B2ST started off the new year with a bang!  They successfully started off their first overseas promotions of 2016 through a tour concert in China.

Recently, they opened their Chinese tour concert 'Beautiful Show in China 2015-2016' at the Guangzhou Stadium to meet their fans there.  This was their second city since their Shanghai stop back in December.  3,000 fans gathered in Guangzhou to see these boys' charismatic performances, which was particularly special because it was their first time there ever for an exclusive concert!

They started off with their summer hit "YeY" before moving onto other upbeat songs and popular james like "We Up," "Shock," and Shadow."  They slowed things down with songs like "On Rainy Days" and a personal favorite "12:30" for a total of 22 songs!  On top of that, they also performed as solo and unit groups.  Besides performances, they even had a surprise birthday party for Yoseob, whose birthday is on January 5.  The concert lasted for two hours.

In the end, B2ST stated, "We are happy that we got to have such cool stages with our Chinese fans, starting in Shanghai.  We want to turn our Chinese tour into an opportunity to meet a lot of our fans on-site."  They also said happy new year's to their fans to wrap up the show!

They will also be taking part in the 'Weibo's Night' award ceremony opening in Beijing on January 7 as the representative Korean artist!

B2ST made sure to wish his member Yoseob a very happy birthday!

On January 5, Doojoon posted the photo above on his Instagram with the message, "It's late, but happy birthday to Yoseob." Dongwoon wrote, "Married couple for 11 years with no issues. Happy Birthday." Kikwang also shared an old-school photo of himself and Yoseob with the message, "Yoseob, I'm a bit late. Kekeke. Happy Birthday!!! Everyone, please congratulate him a lot!!! ^_^." 
Yoseob turned 26 years old on the 5th.
